Bottle Feeding Lambs

I had to throw in a recent pic of Lacey. She should lamb within the next couple of weeks and I am 99% sure it's twins. They will be 37% Gotland/Finn. I'm hoping for at least one girl :-)
Most of the lambs are now 2 weeks old. They are growing out of their little fleece coats :-)

More Lambs

Ally had her 3 lambs Saturday morning. Two ewes and one ram lamb. She is a first time Mom and very protective of them. This is Ally's smallest ewe lamb. She has the same brown splashes of colour as 2 of Apple's lambs. She is getting extra milk from a bottle and is such a little angel. I hold her in my arms and she closes her eyes. I am in luv :-)
Abby's black lambs are really growing!
Here is Ally's lamb (below) again just cause she is so darn cute!
Here is the best mom ever....Apple. This is her second lambing and she really luvs her lambs as you can see.
My Lacey (who is Apple's daughter from last year) is getting a larger bag on her so I know she should lamb within the next month. I am not sure but I think it might be twins. Her lambs will be from the Gotland ram Sterling. All of the other lambs are sired by Gotland ram Sebastion. The count so far for lambs born this year at Hubbert Farms is seven ewe lambs and five ram lambs from just three ewes!

That's A Lotta Lambs!!

Apple had five lambs early this morning! Three ewes and 2 rams. Some have brown spots on white. These lambs are 37.5% Gotland /Finn. Apple is a loving mother as you can see :-)
Abby had four lambs yesterday afternoon!! All black but they should start to turn Gotland grey in the next few months. Two ewes and two rams. These lambs are 50% Gotland/Shetland/Finn.
Wow!! We sure didn't expect that many lambs from these two ewes. Ally the other 2 year old white Finn is due very soon. We think maybe two or three lambs?? My little Lacey will be at least another month. Everyone is so far doing well :-)

Yummy (Greasy) Cormo!!

The white is the greasiest and I am using lots of boiling hot water and blue Dawn.
Light grey and dark grey are CormoX...not as greasy but very soft!
This fleece was all from covered Cormo sheep from Charlotte Epley
