The Supercard

Big learning curve here...it's not quite the same as my Fancicard. This Supercard officially belongs to Hubbert Farms but it resides with me and I am the User :-))))
I have a feeling we will make beautiful music together.
I can always count on Spicey to help out with the fleece washing.
Finished my Tanis Mulberry Silk Haruni shawl. Very pretty pattern, especially in pure silk.
This is the Lehe shawl from my favourite book...Lace Knitting of Estonia.
I am using Hubbert Farm's Cria/Silk/Bamboo lace yarn. So soft and pretty.

The owner of my LYS has a Supercard. You can make really big batts on it. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun.

Such pretty lace!

Would love to have one, I've used one that belongs to a friend, but would have to knock her on the head to get it here lol
Beautiful knitting, as always!

Wow! You're going to have lots of fun with The Supercard. Your Haruni and Lehe are looking good. I found the Lehe pattern to be very well written. It will be so soft with the cria/silk/bamboo.

See you on Saturday!!

heehee, when I saw the pic of "big machine" first thought was "time traveling thing!"

And Haruni shawl ... amazing! Made me speechless!

Woot!! I'm very envious... My friend, Mim, has one, and it's wonderful to use. The key for her is to not use too much fiber at a time, and to set it slower than you think it should be going.

The shawls are wonderful! I chuckled when you said the "Lace Knitting in Estonia" was your favorite book. I fought with that thing from the day I bought it, going so far as to ream Interweave Press a new one about all the errors. I think there's only a couple of patterns without the errata charts taped over the printed ones... However, the patterns are beautiful (once you get the right chart...) and I'm itching to knit some!!

Lucky you! I figure I'm lucky to have a Green carder at all and even better, my neighbor Mim owns the Supercard. Smart move IMHO~

My favorite book, too. Lovely Haruni...its on my list! How DOES one design yarn, anyway? (No answer required).
