Yummy (Greasy) Cormo!!

The white is the greasiest and I am using lots of boiling hot water and blue Dawn.
Light grey and dark grey are CormoX...not as greasy but very soft!
This fleece was all from covered Cormo sheep from Charlotte Epley

What beautiful fleeces, I love to work from the fleece lock up to getting it ready to spin, it is a dream to spin compared to over processed rovings Had a friend that kept coats on her sheep and I always was there waiting at her door as soon as she had sheared for my pick of the fleece she had for sale. sad to say she no longer raises sheep.

Wow that's long stapled compared to the cormos I've seen. It looks lucious, though! I love working from hand-combed top, but I'm too ADD to do very much of it!

Oh. My. I love Cormo and this is some of the nicest that I've seen. I am so tempted to get some but I have too much that I haven't even washed yet to be buying more. Have fun with it!

Your kitty matches the locks perfectly, or should I say purrfectly.

Cormo is awesome. I made the mistake of sending off a Cormo fleece for processing to an unproven processor and ended up throwing the whole thing away. Lesson learned!
