New Life at Hubbert Farms

This morning Apple had her lambs. A ewe and a ram lamb. Apple was bred before she came to us and so the lambs are pure Finn. She is a wonderful mom :-) I got to choose the names too !
Lacey for the girl and Simon for the boy.
Navajo-plyed yarn spun from Hubbert Farms Finn/Alpaca/Bamboo/Soy pindrafted roving.
I knit the Garransett Hat from A Fine Fleece. I really like the pattern and will make both the scarf and hat again with my rose grey Alpaca. I have also finished the Gotland/Finn/Alpaca mittens.

Oh Jody - I'm smiling here all by myself. Little Lacey and Simon are adorable - congratulations!
I have the Narragansett Bay Cap on my list - your handspun cap is beautiful - as are the mittens!

I am powerless in the face of a newborn anything. I want one. Does lamb breath make as fine a perfume as puppy breath?

What beautiful little babies :) It'll be fun watching them growing up. Could a person call them 'the twins'? I have to say thank you for the navajo plied yarn picture. You don't know how happy I am when I get to embiggen that picture and just sit here and drool! I haven't been spinning in so long.
