First FO from our Gotland

My 2 ply handspun Gotland/Kid Mohair scarf is blocked and ready to go to the Frolic with me.
Sorry if I am boring you with pics of Luna. She is my first lamb so I get carried away. Yesterday Luna, mom Gypsy, auntie Abby and proud pappa Sailor were enjoying the warmth and sunshine. Luna is 3 weeks old and you can see how big she is. She should be turning silver/grey soon, how exciting! Even more exciting....sometime this year we will be getting one or two higher % Gotland rams to add to the flock. Sailor will have new buddies and the rams will have their own spot away from the girls
The two Finn girls are housed in a separate area awaiting the arrival of their lambs. I hope it goes well and they are all healthy. We expect at least 3 babies from them but you never know with Finns.

A friend of mine was talking about getting some gotland/fin crosses. She is just starting to gather ewes up for a spinner flock so she's new to it all. When I told her fin's have litters she about fainted lol

Gorgeous scarf Jody! It looks so soft I want to reach into the screen and have a feel (that doesn't sound right, but you know what I mean):) I love the colour. Great pictures of Mama and her baby girl.

Such sweet lamb pics! You have been very busy not only prepping and spinning that wool but already knitting it up - it's gorgeous!

Love the lamb pics. Luna is very sweet. I've never worked with Gotland wool, but I hear it's great. Nice and silky. Looks like it blends really well with mohair- the scarf is beautiful

Not at all boring. I love looking at the pics. Since I don't have sheep looking at your pictures is the next best thing.
Good luck with your beautiful scarf. It's a winner :)
